Ronin, in a shipibo-conibo myth, is described as the mother of water. She is a giant primordial snake that contains on her skin all the designs of the universe.

These designs are said to connect and unify earth and sky, humanity and nature.

When this “primordial skin” is replicated as art form, we are taken back to the origins of time and creation. This action transforms, regenerates and gives new sense not only to the materials utilized, but also to the artist who creates the artwork.
